Cleaning Up

Three reasons for a newspaper to be in the middle of the floor:

1) Someone dropped it. It can be moved to its rightful place

2) It's covering something up. It must not be touched

3) It was on the newspaper rack, but someone walked by and brushed it onto the floor by accident. It can be returned to its rightful place.

People use all sorts of rationalizations to clean up. Or not clean up.
