USA Medical Insurance reform - Blocked

Republicans don't want Democrats to pass sweeping Medical Insurance reform, because:

1) It would make the Democrats wildly more popular than Republicans, and

2) It would have to be be paid for by the Republicans' bosses - the super-rich.

Republicans don't care that sweeping Medical insurance reform would save billions of dollars and would save millions of lives. As long as the Bosses are happy and the Workers are scared to step out of line, all is good for Republicans. Some Democrats as well.
