Impose Single-Payer Health Insurance Now

The US government needs to impose a single-payer system, by forcing Private Insurance companies to fix their prices at a reasonable rate. They would be paid through taxes. The Private Insurance companies will scream "You're messing with the free market," but their protests will ring hollow: the Private Insurance companies already fix their prices, so each company gets a piece of the pie. It's just that they fix their prices at 30% above cost, in order to steal away bonus money.

Those who can't afford the 30% rate hike will lose their life savings, and eventually their life.
