Now is the beginning of the end of Private For-Profit Health Insurance

Dear President Obama,

Thank you for clarifying that you will continue to support a Public Health Insurance Option in current Congressional committees. You had America worried that you were going to bow to implacable Republicans, conceding legislation which a vast majority of Americans want. Please make sure that all your Administration's officials are on the same page when talking about this: the Obama Administration has looked confused and uncertain over the past week.

Since Republicans have vowed to vote against everything, how about adding Single Payer Universal Coverage to the bill? That's what most Americans want. That's what my wife and I want, especially for our adult son, who is uninsured.

And remember - the longer Congress waits to pass Health Insurance Reform, the more people will pass away because they are denied coverage from the Private For-Profit Insurance Companies. Please twist Senator Reid's arm to pass this legislation ASAP (after Single Payer is added), and please sign ONLY a bill which has a Public Option or Single Payer included.
